The Japanese have outdone us again! While I’m surprised it wasn’t Germany, Japan has unveiled their completely new wind-turbine and not only does it look awesome, it has the potential to store three times as much energy as the traditional windmill and undercut the costs of coal and nuclear energy (without subsidies!)!
This article, published today in CNN’s Partner website Mother Nature Network, talks about how the U.S. is the Saudi Arabia of wind, and if we developed just one-third of this resource with these new windmills, we could meet ALL of our energy needs. Energy independence… on crack.
